Job Description
We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should not only be technically strong in building and customizing WordPress websites but also have a sharp eye for design and the ability to translate ideas, scenarios, and examples into visually appealing and functional websites.
Your responsibilities, among others, include:
- Building and customizing WordPress websites using Elementor, WPBakery, Visual Composer, Avada Builder, or similar page builders.
- Writing clean and efficient CSS and JavaScript to enhance functionality and design.
- Converting provided design scenarios, references, or instructions into high-quality web pages.
- Optimizing websites for speed, responsiveness, and SEO best practices.
- Collaborating with designers and project managers to deliver client projects on time.
- Troubleshooting issues and providing ongoing support and maintenance for WordPress websites.
- Staying up-to-date with WordPress updates, plugins, and modern web design trends.
Skills and requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in WordPress development (agency or freelance experience counts).
- Proficiency with Elementor, WPBakery, Visual Composer, Avada Builder, or similar.
- Solid knowledge of CSS and JavaScript.
- An eye for design – able to create visually appealing layouts and follow brand guidelines.
- Understanding of responsive design, UX principles, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with SEO practices and performance optimization.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Fluent in English; German knowledge is a plus.
